Fresh kale is variously placed in a bowl and on top of an adjoining chopping board.

We all like to sneak in a snack between meals, so why not get some extra greens (and purples) into your day?

Crispy kale is a great replacement for heavily processed store-bought chips and biscuits. You can bake the leaves in an oven or air fryer and use whatever varieties you have on hand (we’ve used both green and purple kale to add a bit of colour to our plates). All you need is some fresh kale and a bit of garlic powder, paprika and oil, and you’ll have a healthy and delicious snack ready to go with only 10 minutes of work.
