- Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The promoter of this competition is Bupa Telehealth Pty Ltd, ABN 31 142 900 472, 33 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 (Promoter) in partnership with Tennis Australia, ABN 61 006 281 125, Melbourne Park, Olympic Blvd, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Partner).
- Entry is only open to Australian resident aged 18 years and older who have downloaded the Blua app and completed the Blua app registration at the time of entry (Entrants). Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and Partner or any associated agency are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin.
- The competition commences at 12:00am AEDT on 6 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 26 January 2026 (Promotional Period).
- To enter this competition, input the requested details and submit the fully completed entry form via the Blua App. Only Entrants who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions are eligible to win. Any cost associated with accessing the online entry form is the Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on their internet service provider.
- Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.
- The Promoter may (acting reasonably) at any time verify the validity of entries and the eligibility of Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and disqualify any Entrant who is ineligible, submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, any Entrant who tampers with the entry process or engages in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s sole discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
- Prize draw will take place at iGoDirect Pty Ltd, 41 Stubbs Street, Kensington, VIC 3031 at 11:00am (AEDT) on 27 January 2026. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first valid entry drawn will win one (1) Australian Open 2026 Men’s Final Prize Pack, valued at $5,290.
Prize includes:
- One (1) x double pass tickets for two (2) people to attend the 2026 Australian Open Men’s Final match at Rod Laver Arena scheduled to take place on Sunday 1 February 2026 valued at $2,500 (Australian Open tickets are subject to Tennis Australia’s Ticketing Terms & Conditions here: AO2026-Ticket-Conditions-of-Sale-and-Entry.pdf). The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize);
- Two (2) x nights’ accommodation at the Westin Melbourne [205 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000] valued at $790; and
- One (1) x $2,000 Digital Visa Gift Card which can be used towards purchasing flights to and from Melbourne and to cover other travel-related expenses.
- For the avoidance of doubt, flights and any travel costs do not form part of the prize and any costs associated with flights or travelling to and from the accommodation and/or the 2026 Australian Open Men’s Final match are the responsibility of the winner.
- Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming Digital Visa Gift Card are not included in the prize. Any unused balance of the Digital Visa Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the Digital Visa Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Digital Visa Gift Card.
- The total value of the prize pool is $5,290, inclusive of GST.
- The prize, including any portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
- If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute the prize, including any portion of the prize, with a prize of equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
- Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
- The Promoter will notify the winner directly via phone and email within two (2) days of the draw and their details will be published (first initial, surname and postcode) at bupa.com.au/australianopen on 29 January 2026 (Publication Date). The winner will have until 10:59AM AEDT on 30 January 2026 to claim the prize.
- Where the prize remains unclaimed, the Promoter will conduct a second chance draw to reallocate the prize to another winner (Alternative Winner). The second chance draw will take place on 30 January 2026 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The Alternative Winner will be advised via phone and email no later than 30 January 2026 and the Alternative Winner’s details will be published (first initial, surname and postcode) at bupa.com.au/australianopen on 30 January 2026 (Further Publication Date). Prize(s) must be claimed within two (2) days of the Further Publication Date.
- In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, government lockdown, pandemic or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
- If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify the relevant Entrant or Entrants; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and Partner (including their officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if the 2026 Australian Open Men’s Final match is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or Entrant; or (g) use of the prize.
- The Promoter collects each Entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information for these purposes. The Promoter will handle personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://blua.bupa.com.au/privacy-policy. Unless otherwise indicated by the Promoter, the Promoter may disclose personal information to entities outside of Australia (for a list of the countries, see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy). The Promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas recipient of personal information complies with Australian privacy law and contractual obligations to maintain the security of the data.
- The Privacy Policy also contains information about how Entrants may access, update or correct their personal information, how Entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
